I always love coming here once in awhile and feeling childhood slowly come back to life. I love all the fun stores and window shopping. A great place for kids to play too. I love the food here, and just feel like a time relic. My review might be bias with nostalgia. Plus they have a Gwen cutout, I had to pose purposely awkwardly with her. Also yummy pretzel from Auntie Anne. (We found a random toad on the floor also)

The lakes Mall doesn't have a ton of stores, but we love the few shops they do. They have amazing workers and it's always quick service and we'll knowledgeable people.

For a ‘dead’ mall it has some cool stores. The record store, movie, card shop and toy stores are a must check if you’re coming through.

During Valentine's there were vendors selling hand made items. It was great to see the mall with many people.

Langes runs this mall! If you geek out on any pop culture go to Langes and see what they have! Shirts, plush, pins, statues, toys and best of all Comics! Plus the Record and card store add to the pop culture fun of the mall and are right outside langes now.

You know, as I vote on like the millage for the library, and the millage for Fruitport schools, I really wish there was some way as a community we could band together to make this some sort of public establishment. I don't know if that makes sense, but it's hard to see our local lake Smallville missing when if we each could contribute like $5 to the right resource per year, we might be able to keep this establishment open and flourishing. Might be some sort of entrepreneurial opportunity for someone out there, just hurts to see it decay.

Great place to walk around. They do have some good restaurants im their but honestly not many stores to choose from like the old days. But their is some neat ones they recently brought in

The Lakes Mall is a wonderful place just to hang out. The businesses are trickling out and some of the smaller shops are expanding into some of the vacant stores. I think something really needs to be done to bring back the liveliness of these malls and as long as private Equity firms decide that they're going to own everything that will be a lost cause. I enjoy some of the shops there and I hope they continue to be successful. And I think human beings need to get up out of their Collective chairs and go down to the mall and buy some things when it makes sense financially for them.

I'm very sad that most the storefronts are empty :( I go to this mall maybe twice a month since it's a little ways away from me, but I am happy to say they recently had a trading card game convention here and drummed up a lot of business. Hopefully they can hold stuff like that in the future! My favorite places here are Langes, the second hand children store a few stores down, little easy, sleeping tiger, and auntie annes

On the outside the mall is quite overgrown and not taken care of, trees, weeds, and bushes are growing wild and are a disaster. And once you step inside the mall, you're greeted with a pleasant surprise, the mall is quite nice! And I'm talking about the building itself, its well lit, clean, easy to roam around and doesn't have any funny smells. BUT, the mall is missing one thing. Stores! There are hardly any places left inside. My photos on this review show the current state in July 2025. Its bare, walking through it there aren't many people either, even on the busiest day of the week which is Saturday. This mall won't survive in it's current state, it'll be interesting to see how it's turned around since the Family Farm & Home store just opened on the property which is not accessible from the mall itself.
